這次我用了新的recipe味道很好, 可以分享下…
Ingredients:
110g butter/margarine
80g brown sugar
120ml honey
1 egg yolk
250g flour – sifted
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3 tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Method:
1. cream together the butter and sugar until smooth, stir in honey and egg yolk till creamy. Combine all dry ingredients in to honey mixture until smooth. use a bag wrap it and chill for half hour. I try roll it little flat before chill, coz I feel easy to roll and cut after chill (it'll be little bit hard).
2. take it out, roll the dough to 1/4 inch thickness, cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Place cookies 1 inches apart on sheets.
3. preheat the oven to 175C. Bake for 8-10 mins in the preheated oven, until firm and looks golden. Remove from sheets to cool on wire racks.
4. if use zip bag can keep for 1 week.
Note from rice:
As I don’t like too sweet, it was the reduce sweet one. And I love ginger, I add bit more than normal… the original one is 1 tsp ginger only…
Wish my friends love this little gift. Merry Chrsitmas.
